Busted Printer...
June was a very slow month. I started printing my T3-M4 head and it was going pretty good for a while until I found I needed to replace my hot end, long story short my printer is
now shot. Tried 2 different hot ends and whenever I go to heat my nozzle the printer restarts so the tech guys where I bought the hot ends from have said it could possible be the
cable that connects the hot end to the control box. I need to send them my printers serial number to get a new one but low and behold, no serial seems to have come with my printer.
At the time of writing this I have been without my printer for about 3 weeks and it really sucks. It has however given me time to work on my other droids...
Droids...
With my printer out of action, it has given me some time to work on some of the others droids, listing out what needs doing as well as constantly telling
myself to stop starting new droids when I haven't finished one! I and my son have Gonk-Y the Gonk Droid which will be a static GNK Droid featuring sound
and lights.
T3-M4 will be one of the first of its kind, only a handful of people have made previously, T3 is a droid from the KOTOR 1 & 2 games if you didn't know.
I am also building a Mouse Droid which I intend to ask a friend of mine to "keep hold of" since he loves Mouse Droids. I do have to buy a new transceiver
for the remote control car however since I blew it connecting the battery...
Of course, we have R2 as well. Since the T3 Builders took off, R2 has had some time just to sit around really, I'm still stuck with his foot drives and
I've decided I'm going to redo his dome as I don't like the paint, redo the dome parts and then move onto the body and eventually replace the front
skins and I'm contemplating just getting the resin CSL parts instead of 3D printing the CSR ones and having to hack away at my skins and frame...
