Research...

Welcome back! Firstly please accept my apologies that this entry is quite a few weeks late. Having 3 jobs that are not by any means close together, having to walk to them all and very much pulling 12-hour days hasn't left me a lot of time to do things!

So onto the important stuff! I was finally able to order some more parts for my dome lights so hopefully the rear logic display can be up and running very soon! Just need to get some of the LED Driver Chips and then the double header pins and ribbon cables to join them up with the others. Oh, yeah and I actually need to get some more blue and white LEDs...

Since I'm writing this at the start of July, I feel I should include some bits that's happened in the last few days, a fellow builder spotted my post looking for some wooden legs, I know I know I made my own but I'm not 100% happy with them and I was trying to get some properly made ones and I'll take pictures and compare them. If it turns out my legs are pretty much accurate then I will be happy but if not at least I'll have a physical reference.

My new friend Darren from the UK builders has found some wooden legs he is selling me which is fantastic and yes I do still feel like a child on Christmas Day...again...

In other news, I'm currently planning May 4th next year with a good friend of mine who has opened up a Star Wars themed coffee shop in Darlington called Echo 3, I plan on taking my droid down there and I've managed to book the 99th Garrison to come down to troop with us! You can get them both out here:

So for my logic displays, I've received my LED Driver chips for the RLD, still waiting on the terminals for the battery connector, double pin headers and single CIRCULAR pin headers. If you are wondering when that word is emphasized please check my previous entry...

I've also done an update on my Youtube channel regarding my legs and cutting the slots for those which you can check out here!
